The role of the Marketing Coordinator is integral to the effective delivery of Marketing, Communication and PR services to the Precinct. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Coordinator must ensure that campaigns get done on time, in full and within budget.
Our Marketing Coordinator will collaborate with key players on our Marketing and Events teams to make sure that each campaign gets the resources and attention it needs to be successful. The ability to work in a team as well as on one’s own is essential. The successful candidate for this role will also be responsible for handling correspondence with clients and communicating with other departments within the company to keep marketing campaigns on track.
Proven ability to track and report on campaigns is essential.
The role of the Marketing Coordinator specifically entails, but is not limited to the following:
Keep people informed
A 3 year Degree/ Diploma (at least NQF level 6)
3 to 5 years’ experience in a fast paced, uncertain and complex Marketing and Events environment
Have worked in an Events and PR agency environment
Worked in a multi-disciplinary team
Work proficiently on excel (campaign reporting and metrics / dashboard)
