We are excited to share with you an exclusive glimpse into our upcoming research project on the evaluation and network analysis of the Johannesburg tech sector. As an innovation-driven tech hub, we understand the importance of staying ahead of the curve and providing you with the latest insights to propel your growth and success. The Tshimologong Research lab will be conducting follow-up research to a 2018 report that was previously done in collaboration with Endeavor Insights. By updating this study, we aim to shed light on the current state, opportunities, and challenges within the dynamic tech landscape of Johannesburg.
Over the past five years, the Johannesburg tech sector has undergone remarkable changes. As a result, there is a pressing need for updated research that can help us better understand its performance and identify avenues for further growth, employment, and productivity.
The primary objective of the study will be to identify the challenges and opportunities facing the sector in terms of talent retention, skills development, and access to finance. Through these insights, we intend to provide recommendations to enhance the growth and competitiveness of the ICT sector in the global market, focusing on the tech business support ecosystem.
