Business Development Manager
We are seeking a Business Development Manager who will play a strategic and commercial role in growing Tshimologong’s partnerships, client base, and revenue streams.
The successful candidate will combine strategic relationship-building, sales acumen, and commercial understanding to develop and secure business opportunities across both funded and fee-for-service projects.
Working as part of the senior management team, you will collaborate with programme leads, training and production teams to design, package, and sell Tshimologong’s offerings, from innovation labs and project management services to skills development and digital content production.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field (postgraduate preferred).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in business development, partnership management, or sales.
- Proven experience in service-based revenue generation and commercial deal-making.
- Experience in technology, innovation, skills development, or creative industries.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Key Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the role will include but not be limited to:
- Develop and execute a business development strategy aligned with Tshimologong’s strategic goals.
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities across commercial and funded streams.
- Build strong partnerships with corporates, government, and donors.
- Lead proposal writing, bidding, and commercial offer development.
- Negotiate contracts and manage client relationships for long-term growth.
- Drive revenue generation across Tshimologong’s service areas.
- Conduct market research and provide strategic insights for new offerings.
- Represent Tshimologong at industry events and innovation forums.
