The Digital Skills Academy provides qualifying matriculants with relevant ICT skills through structured classroom-based and online training. The Digital Skills Learnership programme covers basic, intermediate to advance skills targeted at unemployed youth and graduates.
SHORT COURSES
INTERNET OF THINGS (IoT)
The course also introduces the importance of the new Intent Based Networking that uses a software-driven approach and machine learning to be able to connect and secure tens of billions of new devices with ease.

Phephisile was a student in the 2019 BankSeta programme which is intended to make unemployed, disadvantaged youth more employable by equipping them with scarce skills in software development and networking. Phephisile has now passed three internationally recognised exams – CompTIA A+, Python Essentials. And C# in addition to having participated in a three-month capstone project. Lebohang Mofokeng enrolled in the Accenture/KLM Programme in October 2018. Lebohang lives with a congenital deformity of the hips, and says that she felt discouraged before she joined the Skills Development Academy. “Tshimologong offered me an opportunity that gave me hope, confidence and certainly equipped me and continues to equip me with skills that I am sure to use (in) the 4th Industrial Revolution.” Lebohang credits Tshimologong’s inclusive policies and willingness to cater for people who live with disabilities for affording her the opportunity to participate in this Programme.
